[D&D] Campaign

My D&D campaign finally came to a close with a rather climactic finish, which, sadly, left most players dead and one player sacrificed for the greater good. I got many compliments from my players for the campaign and the way it finished, and I think it’s the best and most consistently solid game I’ve ever run so far. Thinking back, it was quite a ride. :)

Next week, Dennis is going to be picking up his game again, and I’m thoroughly looking forward to it. I expect that I’ll be reading up on a bunch of useless things to add some spice and flavour to my character once the gaming starts.

  1. A good campaign that lasted for quite a long time. It was nice to see this story end in a fitting way, we have been struggling against adversaries far more powerful than we were, so (in my opinion) it is only logical that we needed to make sacrifices to succesfully end the story.

Coming weekend will be interseting. Switching from player to DM will be interseting for the both of us Dennis :)
    I can’t wait!

  2. Yeah, about that; I’m not sure I’ll be able to make it this weekend, but I’ll let you know as soon as I can. It’ll give you some extra time to prepare. :)

  3. Please let me know in time……the week after that I probably won’t be able to make it, so that would mean that the restarting of my campaign is riddled with absentees. With Ed in the .ca and you out that would mean only Pandion as a character of the running story will be there to try and recall all that has happened and to try and fit the two new players in…

To be honest: If you won’t be able to make it I think I’ll postpone the (re)start and stick to an alternative (Arkham Horror, Shogun oder sonst etwas).

  4. As far as I know nothing has been decided yet. Dennis hasn’t yet stated if he’ll be able to make it or not. Apart from that Arkham Horror is not the only alternative available.

  5. Yeah, I won’t be able to make it on Sunday I’m afraid. I was looking forward to playing Leman again, but I guess I’m going to have to wait a while longer.
