This was a photo I took of myself at the end of a drunken bachelor’s party for my friend Ed. God, I have no idea where I got that blue hat or that pink scarf from.
Shit My Dad Said
My father had a nice way with words. One of the saying he used to say was “je moet niet vragen naar de bekende weg,” which roughly translates to “don’t ask questions to which you already know the answer.” Strangely, whenever he would say that to me it was never a good thing to hear, but when I think of it now it makes me smile.
Sleeping Without Rest
I have never had trouble falling asleep. I can sleep almost anywhere at any time. However, being blessed in that way doesn’t prevent me from getting a bad night sleep. The last few days I have woken up just as tired as I went to sleep. Not a good development.
