My mother had a thorax-scan today in order to monitor how well she’s responding to the chemo-therapy. It turns out her body isn’t responding at all. The cancer in her liver has grown considerably, the cancer in her lung has spread and certain spots have become quite a bit bigger. Some of the spots which they suspected was scar-tissue from the stereotactical radiology were in fact tumors, too, and that has grown as well, and it seems to have spread to one of her ribs. They’re going to change the chemo-treatment to another form, and they finally gave an estimation of her life expectancy; months.
