As you all know, Marco and Clarissa (together with their ultra-cute kid Holland) are in the Netherlands. They are here to show off their new spawn, meet some friends and see my mother before she kicks the bucket. We’ve been hanging out, and it’s been great. Naturally, Dennis had to pick the one busy weekend I had to come back from Paris for a few days. Bastard. And Jim was in London so, being a man after my own heart, he hopped a plane to come and spend some time with us this weekend. It looked to be a busy weekend, and I wasn’t really sure how I was going to manage it all. Luckily, it was all taken care of for me without my knowledge. Not suspecting a thing, I went to pick up (crafty, misinformation) Jim from the airport and when we got home there were bunches of people, and tequila, and laughter and tiramisu and music. My brother, Marco, Clarissa, Holland…even Frank and Eva! Later we were joined by Dennis as a small contingent of us went to Zebra lounge for some more craziness. All in all I had a great time and must give my compliments to Moulsari for orchestrating the surprise so well.
Weirdest moment of the night was courtesy of Jim; wrestling with a random Irish girl while standing in line for french fries. If it wasn’t for him, she never would’ve attacked me. Jim’s an enabler. :)

I’m glad I was able to take the weekend and head over there. It was really good to see everyone.

Along those same lines, I may be back in London the week of June 2nd. It’s not confirmed yet, and I don’t know if I could tack on a weekend regardless, but I thought I’d let you know and try to add to your guilt. :D
That’s guilt I’ll be able to manage. :)
On top of that it seems that I’ll be in the .nl in the weekend following June 6th. When Frank has his ball and chain attached to him ;)
Dennis: Thank you for the post, because I thought that it didn’t go as well as it could have, but I’m glad that you enjoyed it anyway. :) I’ll just save the other things I had planned for another opportunity. ;)

On Frank, not married, but a registered partnership, which is something of a semi-marriage.
