I’ve talked about it before, but for those of you who are just tuning in I’ll give a short recap; my mother’s very ill and will most likely be dying soon. I wanted to take her on a vacation one last time, to let her die with a tan on her face. I kind of explained it to everyone that it would be a nice farewell present. Immediately, many people decided they wanted to join in on the present. A bunch of donations later and I’m absolutely gobsmacked and heartwarmed at how many people want to be part of this last farewell. From really unexpected people, too. People I haven’t seen or talked to in a while. People who’ve never met my mother but doing solely on knowing me. Weird weird weird, but cool cool cool.

I don’t need any money, that’s not how this is set up. This is strictly on the basis of how much you’d like to give. The vacation is going to happen, no matter how many people decide to chip in, but for those of you who want to chip in on my mother’s farewell can do so. Whatever they’re comfortable with.
Yeah, well, dad was talking about exorbitant amounts of money. Maybe you can give me a guideline of what he should donate and I’ll tell him to donate that.
