.: Blood Pressure
This morning I had another attack last roughly 35 minutes. It hit a little before six o’clock, which was cool because I was scheduled early for an appointment with my doctor anyway. We discussed the Sumatriptan and he suggested putting me onverapamil, which lowers blood pressure and serves as a prophylactic, hopefully. I’m not so keen on taking them, to be honest, seeing as how my blood pressure is good as it is, so I’ll try to see how I feel while taking it and what the results are. If it’s as effective as the nasal spray then I don’t think I’ll continue taking it.
The doctor also mentioned that he noticed a difference in my attitude since the last time I saw him. I guess that’s true, but he did see me just after an attack. I’m not giving up. This is temporary, and I’ll outlast this thing.
.: Gaming
Yesterday we gamed and it was pretty cool, although, as often happens, the story hardly progressed, we were busier with fluff and flavour material, which was cool, too. Unfortunately, Mark couldn’t make it due to illness (beterschap, dude!), which was unfortunate, but hopefully he’ll be with us next Sunday. Before gaming started I had a really good time hanging out with Eva for a few hours, chilling out, eating bagels and muffins and sitting in the sun philosophising a bit on life.
There’s a rubbers joke in there somewhere.
Is it the “phrophylactic” that makes you giggle? :)
So, putting a condom on your head is gonna make you feel better?
If so, then I will!
Heh. Dickhead. *chuckle*
All that there, that’s what I was alluding to.
Hey, I’m 17. I can still pull of immaturity!
I’m 30, so can I!
But, people look at you funny when you do. They just look funny to me because of my hair.
Give the blood pressure meds some time. A variation of what you’re using now – beta blockers – have worked wonders for my family.
