It’s funny which things you decide to remember. When I moved out of my mother’s and lived on my own my brother and I would sometimes chat online. Whenever he mistyped something and I corrected him, or if I would explain something to him, he would always respond with “ohw.” I still think that is so cute and it always makes me smile when I think of that and when I see the man he has become.

Gender of the Candidate
I have never noticed that our ballots show the gender of the candidate. How… strange. I suppose some of the fundies might want to know, but then shouldn’t they do their research if they want to discriminate? Let’s not make it easy.
Surprises
Sometimes something happens that completely throws your day out of balance. It doesn’t have to be unpleasant, just really unexpected, and it sometimes takes me a while to recover. Like today I heard from someone I wasn’t supposed to hear from and now I feel a little frazzled. I like to think of myself as fairly resilient and adaptive, and yet… You know?
New Phone for My Sis
Today, my sister and I went shopping for a belated birthday gift for her. She needed a new phone, so on our way we went. After walking to the shopping area from her house and visiting a few stores we had a good idea of what the prices were and had even bargained a great price at one of them, getting a big discount on the iPhone and some perks here and there, we had to walk all the way back to her house to pick up her passport, but eventually we had succeeded. In shadowrun terms, I feel we rolled all sixes on our negotiation roll. :)
Bus Full of Indians
Currently sitting in an unusually hot bus filled with what looks to be several Indian families. If I close my eyes, I can pretend I live in India and I’m doing an average commute. :)
