.: Swimming
This morning, for a few minutes, I was the only person in the pool. The water was almost entirely still as I started swimming. It was both surreal and exhilarating, and it has made me realise that I wouldn’t be opposed to having my own pool soon. :)
.: Gaming
Last sunday we had our regular sunday gaming session, and there were quite a few upsets, in a similar way as the Gonzaga vs. Crocop UFC fight was an upset; the players were deceived, and now a man they have struggled long and hard for in order to save him, is dead, and one of the key items they need in order to truly overcome their ultimate opponent is lost. With the exception of Matthieu, all of them knew something was up, and that Baer – the one who ended up betraying them – wasn’t kosher, but they never once chose caution over carelessness, and they never once voiced their concerns to one another. Even Crispin, my main deus ex machina NPC in the game, could only voice his discomfort and suspicions that much until the players had to do something. In the end they didn’t, and they’re a shite-side worse off than they were. I wonder what they’re going to do next.
I got that feeling while swimming in the middle of Ang Nam Ngum – reservoir in Laos. We were the only one there, with water every direction in eye sight. The lake was completely still, quiet with crystal clear water. It felt totally surreal to dive in there.
You wouldn’t have to worry about supply of fresh water for your pool with all the raining we get. ;)
