[D&D] Monty Haul

So after last session’s rather Monty Haulish load of items my players managed to get away with, I’ve got a quite a bit of creative writing to do, coming up with stories, histories and lore to accompany said items. This, while the end-result is probably going to be worth it, sucks the big one. Not something this clever boy thought of (among many other things), when he decided to let the group of intrepid adventurers sneak into, and out of, a dragon’s lair with arms full of lewt.

  1. You know, I was thinking about it…you guys just grabbed armfuls of stuff, with the intention of finding out later what it was that you had actually taken. I’m going to punish each of you for that in one way or another. Nothing big, but let’s face it, you’ve been stealing from a rather long-living, and vindicitive animal, you know? :)

  2. I completely expect this to happen. Greed is one of the seven sins and we’re bound to be punished for the monty-hauling we did….we just don’t know when

  3. That or the previous owners, or the descendants of the previous owners, decide to pay them a visit after they hear about some of the family silverware or other valuables coming back onto the market as it were.
